Doolittle Park (Public Beach and Campground)

Doolittle Park is located on beautiful Birch Lake. The park offers a sandy beach, playground, pavilion, grills & picnic tables, fish cleaning house, easy access boat launch, restrooms and showers, 40 modern campsites, and dump station*.

Bluegill Park

Birchwood calls itself the “Bluegill Capital of Wisconsin” and welcomes highway passersby with a 14-ft. long fiberglass statue located on the West side of the Village along Hwy 48. The park offers a small parking area, bench for comfortable group photos, and access to the Tuscobia Trail and Ice Age Trail.

Skate Park

Visit our newly constructed Skate Park made for skateboarding, scootering, roller-skating, and other inline skating.

Tennis/Pickle Ball Court

Whether you are looking for a smaller court for Pickleball or a larger court for Tennis our Tennis/Pickle Ball Court accommodates both.

Bluegill Baseball Field

A field that partners with Birchwood Lions Club and Birchwood School District to serve the whole community. Come out and enjoy our school athletes, Annual Bluegill Fest Baseball Tournaments (3rd weekend in July), or host your own friends and family gatherings.

Rest Park

Take a walk Downtown Main Street and stop to rest at the Village Rest Park.

Ice Skate Rink

Located on the quiet “Little Birch” with lighting. Small parking and seating is available.

Fishing Pier

Birchwood students recently rebuilt the public fishing pier, assisting youngers kids in outdoor education. Small parking and seating available for a quiet and relaxing day of fishing. Birch Lake is known for its bluegills, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye.

Trails

The Birchwood area’s year-round trails are ideal for use by ATV & Snowmobile enthusiasts as well as hikers. The Tuscobia Trail is the main off-road trail. Stop at our local downtown businesses for food, drinks, shopping, and entertainment.
