Q: What is a Registered Write-In Candidate List?

A: A list of registered write-in candidates for federal, state and local offices.

 

Q: When Must a Candidate Register By?

A: Candidates must register by 12:00 p.m. the Friday before the election to be considered registered write-in candidates.

 

Q: Who Provides a List of Registered Write-In Candidates?

A: The municipal clerk supplies the elections inspectors with a list of registered write-in candidates on Election Day.

 

Q: How Do I Inquire About the List?

A: The list is to be given to any elector who inquiries about the list but may not be posted.

 

Q: How do I Vote for a Registered Write-In?

A: You May Decide to Write in the Name of a Candidate Who is Not Listed on Your Ballot in the Write-In Box.
