Land Use Applications

Discussion and possible action regarding a Land Use Permit application for the permanent placement of three storage containers at 615 E. Highway 48 (Parcel No. 29369). The applicant requests approval to retain the containers in their current location to support business operations and product sales. The containers are situated on an existing blacktop surface and are used for the storage and display of merchandise associated with the principal commercial use.
Synergy Community Cooperative
Discussion and possible action regarding a Land Use Permit application for the permanent placement of a storage container at 701 E. Highway 48 (Parcel ID 36936). The proposed 8′ x 40′ x 9’6″ storage container is being used as an accessory structure for the storage of merchandise associated with the principal commercial use. The container is currently located on the property, with future plans to relocate it to the southeast corner of the lot in compliance with applicable setback requirements.
Industrial Park
Review the Village Comprehensive Plan and discuss future development opportunities within the proposed development area. Review the conceptual layout and preliminary infrastructure cost estimate prepared by MSA Professional Services for the extension of water, sewer, roadway, and supporting utilities. Discuss consistency with Comprehensive Plan goals and provide recommendations regarding future residential growth and housing development.

Review and revise Village of Birchwood Emergency 2022 Operations Plan; action item for approval
