Welcome Ben Campbell!

The Village of Birchwood Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Ben Campbell, West Wisconsin Inspection Agency, LLC, has joined with the Village of Birchwood as our Building Inspector, and Zoning Inspector, effective August 30, 2017.

Ben will provide the village residents with assistance for all building related projects.  review of building plans, and application for building permits.  He will inspect all new construction and existing dwelling units for building code compliance.  Ben will resume rental inspections in March 2018.  He will also help with administration and enforcement of all zoning ordinances.

Ben began his career in construction as a high school sophomore, working with a home builder.  After graduation he continued his passion of working in the construction trade, building several houses with multiple contractors.

In 2005 Ben began his inspection career and obtained State of Wisconsin Certification for Uniform Dwelling Construction (UDC) in Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Construction, and Commercial Building Inspection.  He is a member of the Northwest Building Inspectors Association since 2005.  He has been an officer for the Wisconsin Building Inspectors Association since 2013, serving as President in 2016.

His proven track record of success in the Building Inspection area will be invaluable in meeting the goals for the Village residents.  We are confident that Ben is an excellent match for this position and a strong asset to the Village of Birchwood.  West Wisconsin Inspection Agency, located in Ben’s home office, is just a phone call or email away.
