March 2, 2021 Board of Trustee Special Meeting Minutes – Approved

The Special Board of Trustees Meeting of the Village of Birchwood was be held on Tuesday, March 2^nd, 2021, at 5:30 pm at the Birchwood Village Hall, 101 N Main St, Birchwood, WI 54817

Village President John Depoister called the meeting to order – Meeting was recorded Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Roll call by Clerk (R. Vangilder, P. Parkos, J. Depoister, M. Manning, S. Small was not in attendance.

Public Notice: Posted at the Birchwood Post Office, Village Hall, Gary’s Grocery and Village Website.

Citizen Comments: (Limit 3 minutes per person) Linda Zillmer questioned if the village was going to require a bond from the mover to cover any damage done to the village roads.

Discussion/Action Items (No public comments allowed):

1. Current agenda: Motion to approve by Rocky Van Gilder second, by Mark Manning. Carried 4/0

power, water and sewer access. Rocky VanGilder motioned to list on Wisconsin Surplus at the determined starting bids. Stacy Small second. Carried 4/ 0.

2. Arnevik Moving Services, LLC: John Depoister presented the request for a permit to move the house at 804 Knapmiller Road. The route would be south on Knapmiller Road to La Pointe Drive. East on La point Drive to State Highway 48. East on State Highway 48 exiting the Village of Birchwood. The route concerns 2 blocks of village roads. Assessment of the area determined that there were no power lines, trees, utilities, homes, or mailboxes that would need to be removed or disconnected. The Board discussed the road weight limits that would be in effect on Monday March 8th. It was determined that these did not affect the Village of Birchwood at this time. Rocky Van Gilder made a motion to approve the permit. Mark Manning seconded. Carried 4/0
